Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of the Top Cash 4 Scrap Cars website and to any vehicle you sell to us. By using the site or requesting a quote, you agree to them.

1. Quotes and offers

• Quotes are based on the information you provide about the vehicle, including its year, make, model, condition and whether major parts are present.
• The quoted price is honoured at pickup if the vehicle matches your description. If it doesn't, for example if parts are missing or the damage differs, we may revise the offer. You may decline a revised offer at no cost.
• Quotes are valid for a limited time because scrap metal prices change. We'll tell you how long when we quote.
• Price ranges shown on the site, such as $250 – $10,000, are typical ranges and not a guaranteed amount.

2. Your responsibilities as the seller

• You must be the legal owner of the vehicle, or be authorized in writing by the owner, and be at least 18.
• You must provide valid ownership and government photo ID that match.
• You confirm the vehicle is free of liens or other claims, or you tell us about them before pickup. Undisclosed liens may cancel the sale.
• Remove your licence plates and all personal belongings before pickup. We aren't responsible for items left in the vehicle.
• After the sale, cancel your insurance and complete any notice required by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation.

3. Pickup and towing

• Towing within our service area is free. We'll confirm the pickup location and time with you.
• You must give our driver safe, legal access to the vehicle.
• Pickup times are estimates and can change because of weather, traffic or other conditions.

4. Payment and transfer

We pay the agreed price at pickup once the ownership is signed over. Ownership of the vehicle and all risk pass to us when payment is made and the vehicle is loaded.

5. Refusal of service

We may refuse to buy any vehicle, including where ownership can't be confirmed, where we suspect fraud or theft, or where pickup would be unsafe.

6. Website use

• Website content is for general information. We try to keep it accurate but don't guarantee it is complete or current.
• You may not misuse the site, submit false information or interfere with its operation.
• Text, design and logos on the site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Top Cash 4 Scrap Cars is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the sale of a vehicle. Our total liability for any claim relating to a sale is limited to the price paid for that vehicle.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. The version on this page applies from the date shown above.
